Dana Morrison lives and works in San Francisco, California.  She obtained her MFA in Studio Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2016, and her BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2010.  Dana has been recognized through a number of grants and awards during her career, including the June Brundage Cater Fellowship to the Vermont Studio Center, the Anne Bremer Foundation Award though SFAI and the Murphy and Cadogan Contemporary Arts Award through SOMArts Cultural Center and the San Francisco Foundation.

Dana works primarily in sculpture, performance and both traditional and digital photography and teaches photography courses to students of all ages. She grew up in central Pennsylvania and was gifted her first camera at age 12.
